08/28/2010 Be a Red Cross trained babysitter. An American Red Cross Babysitting Class is being offered by the DuBois Chapter of the American Red Cross from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 28 at the Chapter Office, 109 N. Brady Street, Second Floor in DuBois. This program is intended for youth ages 11-15, providing them with a range of injury prevention and safety skills as well as training in decision making, basic child care, leadership, and professionalism. The program also includes first aid and infant & child CPR. Cost is $15, which includes the Babysitter’s Handbook and CD. Please bring a pack lunch the day of the class.
